This 8 day tour in Cambodia starts in Siem Reap and ends in Phnom Penh. It combines cultural sightseeing tours with community service in regards to the litter collection program covering the first stage of improving the overall sanitation and cleanliness of a rural village in Cambodia. The program will get involved in supplying each household or school in the village with a rubbish bin and employing an environmental officer to collect these bins along with rubbish in public areas of the village. The rubbish will be sorted and taken to an appropriate location.

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival

Arrival at Siem Reap airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to directly project location. Your accommodation and meals will be at a homestay. Tonight, your guide will explain to you about the project. After you clearly understand the work and requirements of the project you can start the work tomorrow. Overnight in homestay.

Day 2: Community Service (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will have a community meeting and supplying each household in the village with a rubbish bin and training them to collect these bins with rubbish in public areas of the village. The rubbish will be sorted and taken to an appropriate location. Overnight in homestay.

Day 3: Community Service (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will start the day’s work by participating in rubbish collections and inclusion of environmental issues. Overnight in homestay.

Day 4: Temple Visit - Tonle Sap Lake (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will say good bye to villagers and transfer to visit the Bantey Srei Temple Museum and Landmine Museum. After lunch, you will take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake to visit Floating Fishing Village, then tonight free to walk through the local market. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Temples Visit (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the most famous temples such as Angkor Thom, Bayon and Ta Prohm and Ankor Wat. View sunset from Phnom Bakheng temple. Dinner tonight will be at the Apsara Cultural Dance show, bring your camera to capture the beautiful traditional Cambodian dancing. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh City Tour (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival, you will take a half day city tour including National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda on the same ground of Royal Palace, River Front Park and renowned Wat Phnom Hill, Toul Sleng Museum. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7: Killing Fields - 1/2 Day City Tour (B, L, D)

This morning you will take a 15km drive to visit Killing Fields, which are a number of sites in Cambodia where collectively more than a million people were killed and buried by the Communist Khmer Rouge regime, during its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979, immediately after the end of the Cambodian Civil War (1970–1975). The mass killings are widely regarded as part of a broad state sponsored genocide. Then return to the city to visit Phnom Penh Municipality Hall, National Library, National Bank, Independence Monument and free for shopping at New Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 8: Phnom Penh Departure (B)

Free at leisure till transferring to airport for your onward flight. End of service.
