Kicking off in the captivating capital city of Bangkok, journey north to mingle with the hill tribes in Chiang Rai. Visit the long neck hill tribe people and the Chinese village on the mountain. See the ancient city of Chiang Saen, where ruins of numerous, temples, stupas, Buddha images are still seen before heading to Chiang Mai. Ride the elephants crossing the river and into the forest. Enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure along the river. Receive a blessing from a monk at the temple of Doi Suthep.

Day 1: Bangkok Arrival (L)

Arrival at Bangkok airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to visit some of the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok; Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimit), the home of a 5.5 ton Buddha image, found when the port of Bangkok was being expanded and dating back more than 200 years. Visit Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the holiest of all Thai temples “The Emerald Buddha Temple” (Wat Phra Kaew) where the replica of Angkor Wat and the late Ayutthaya-style murals on the surrounding walls illustrate scenes from the Ramayana are included in the temple’s compound. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok – Chiang Rai (B, L)

Morning flight to Chiang Rai. On arrival, you will take a city tour including the Karen Hill Tribe, King Meng Rai, the founder of Lanna kingdom’s Chiang Rai, Wat Klang Wiang previously called Wat Chantalok, the symbol of Chiang Rai, Wat Phra Sing, the main prayer hall reflecting a Lanna traditional and architectural style with wooden portals beautifully carved into a delicate pattern showing the interplay of earth, water, wind and fire by local Chiang Rai craftsmen, Wat Phra Kaew, formally called Wat Pa Yia (bamboo forest), this is where the Emerald Buddha was found. Thus the name of the temple was derived. Afterward, you will take a boat to visit Karen Hill Tribe. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 3: Doi Mae Salong – Doi Tung (B, L)

Take an excursion to Doi Mae Salong where you will visit the Chinese village on the mountaintop and buy some of the local products. Along the way stop at the Hot Spa and see the nature which offers the beautiful sceneries. Usually in the cool season the Thai Cherry trees are in full bloom and you can touch the mountain mists here. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Continue to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border. Doi Tung provides an opportunity to view many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see from distance the Princess Mother’s frigid flower Garden. Doi Tung temple was built in A.D.1493 and located at the peak looking the entire northern rice field plain. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 4: Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai (B, L)

After breakfast, drive to visit Opium House at bent of the mighty Mekong River and see the scenery view of three countries (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos). Visit ancient city of Chiang Saen, where ruins of numerous, temples, stupas, Buddha images are still seen. Lunch at local restaurant and proceed to Chiang Mai. On the way we will visit the most beautiful temple in Thailand, Wat Longkun. The whole building is crystal white and serve multi amazing statute outlook. It is now very famous and popular in Chiang Rai. Then, visit to Mae Kha Jan Hot Spring, which is divided into three hot springs and an average temperature is about 80 degree Celsius, it can boil eggs within 3 minutes. Opposite Mae Kha Jan Hot spring are many private mineral bathrooms. After this place, go straight to your hotel in Chiang Mai for check in and free at leisure. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 5: Chiang Mai - Elephant Safari (B, L)

This morning, visit the Elephant Camp at Mae Taman Camp to see the Elephants at work. You have a chance to ride the elephants crossing the river and into the forest. This lasts about 1 hour. Then return by Oxcart to the elephant village followed by lunch. After lunch, enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure along the river, for around 45 minutes. Then, continue to an orchid farm, where there are many beautiful species of orchid. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Doi Suthep (B, L)

Today you will visit to Doi Suthep Temple, where is one of the most sacred temples in Chiangmai – Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, located on hilltop in Northern-Thai style and containing holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 7: Chiang Mai Departure (B)

Free at leisure till transferring to airport for your onward flight. End of services.
