Northern Vietnam School Tour

Arrive at Hanoi International airport. You will be met and transferred to hotel for check in. If time permits, you will have the ticket to Thang Long Theater to enjoy Water Puppet Show before having dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will take a half day tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Complex, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Ethnology Museum and Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, you will visit some of Orphanage villages in Hanoi and do community work there. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart Hanoi and head west towards Hoa Binh city where you stop for refreshments and visit Hoa Binh hydro station built in the 1980’s. Leaving Hoa Binh for Mai Chau valley. Enjoy the stunning views while having local lunch. You will walk around the surrounding village afterward. Our host for this evening will be the White Thai minority people. Tonight’s accommodation in a stilt house will probably be a little more rustic than you would be used to but an awesome experience. Traditional dancing will be performed after dinner. Your overnight stay will be in Mai Chau.

Start the Community Service Project. Overnight in Mai Chau. Our projects can be building school, learning environments, filtering water resources and heath care that you can help the local community by becoming involved in our projects and interacting with locals. Today you will complete the Project and celebrate the hand over with local community. Say goodbye to your new and grateful friends before returning to Hanoi. Lunch will be served on the way back to Hanoi. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will take a road trip to Halong Bay, one of the world’s marvels. This is one of your highlighted Vietnam tours and holidays in Vietnam. On arrival, sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before beginning cruising through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as cruising among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoiled pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottoes of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. After visiting Amazing cave, our boat will anchor in a place with quiet atmosphere. Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood. Squid fishing or relaxing and chatting. Overnight on board.

For early risers complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Huong Hai Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Check out on board at around 10.00am. Enjoy a wholesome brunch as boat weaving through strange-shaped limestone rock formations.
Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation, return to Hanoi for your overnight stay.

Depending on your departure time, you can visit some schools or universities in Hanoi before flying home. End of your northern Vietnam school tour.
