The Thanh Nam fishing village (also called Con Chai) is shaped by the beautiful Thu Bon River. Fishermen have come here for the longest time to cast their nets and catch prawns, crabs and fish. The fishing village is still active nowadays, even with the appearance of modern fishing ships going to far fishing areas in the East Sea. You will experience the daily life of a typical fisherman, learn how to lift the big fishing net out of the water in the traditional way of this area and how to use the little round boat “THUNG CHAI” to get fish out to the net.

Our guide will come to meet you at your hotel in Hoian around 8:00am. Enjoy a bicycle tour to Thanh Nam fishing village. Experience the boat with a local fisherman to learn how to use a net and hopefully eat some fishes. Then continue to Dai Chiem estuary to visit the peaceful waterways with many boats. Have lunch before returning to your hotel. End of Hoian fishing tour.
